Scrapbooking's Big Kahuna

Did you have a great Thanksgiving? I had a wonderful time with my family, especially since my Mom flew all the way across country to be with us. It was lots of fun cooking all day with my Mom and taking in all the after Thanksgiving sales too. We even had a little time to do some scrapbooking together too. All in all, a great holiday!

This week's newest products got me reminiscing about another great holiday. My husband and I spent our 20th anniversary cruising to Hawaii. We boarded our ship (Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas) in Ensenada Mexico and had five luxurious days at sea relaxing and enjoying the native Hawaiian entertainment on board before we reached the islands. During our Pacific crossing, we heard about Hawaiian history, watched wonderful Hula dances and listened to some really great music too. The onboard entertainment really got us all excited about the islands we were about to visit.

I tried to take the photos of things that I wanted to make sure I would remember, like the funny and personable hula dancer who made everyone feel special, the balcony view outside our room that had a different view every morning when we woke up and the quiet serene pool area where we spent our time reading novels, sipping on fruity cocktails and dreaming of the beautiful Islands we were about to visit.
